The complete floor cleaning kit can be purchased from our shop, through our website at www.sphere8shop.com
Remove any loose dirt particles from the floor using a dry microfibre mop]
We recommend cleaning your Sphere8 floor using a moist flat-head mop with a micro-fibre cloth. These are available from many online vendors and we also sell these as a kit which can be purchased at our shop, through our website.
We recommend using the Floor Cleaner R1000 (neutral) or Floor Cleaner PU (alkaline) which are both suitable. These are both available to purchase at our shop, through our website.
For localised dirt spots, simply wipe away with a damp sponge. If necessary allow the products to dwell for 5 minutes to soften the dirt before rinsing/ wiping.
For machine cleaning, the Milfisk SC100 with the microfibre roller attachment works well for commercial or large floor areas. For residential settings, robot hoovers work well to keep dust and pet hair free.

Sphere8 had an amazing night out last week, as we attended the 2016 Restaurant and Bar Design Awards at the Old Truman Brewery. Now in its eighth year, these awards are a globally recognised competition dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces - so we were obviously thrilled to be involved in a short-listed project with Virgile & Partners for the Birmingham Harvey Nichols restaurant.

Last night we welcomed nearly 500 people on site at Ladbroke Grove to celebrate London Design Festival with a unique Harvest Festival party, in partnership with Tom Dixon. Here in Ladbroke Grove this weekend can only mean one thing – CARNIVAL! The annual Notting Hill Carnival parades straight past our site here and every year we are blown away by the excitement, energy and enthusiasm that surrounds the event. The other thing that immediately comes to mind (along with food, music and dancing!) is the riotous display of colour that Carnival inspires. So as a tribute to our lively neighbours this weekend, we thought we’d look at our most colourful project to date…

The rebranding continues and we’re making steady progress! It’s been such an enjoyable opportunity to look at everything we offer our clients and how to make it better. The literature we send out to prospective customers is the perfect example of this – so the chance to redraft everything from the content to the way it’s presented was a very exciting venture… Order one online now to see what the final product was!

This week we embarked on the rebranding of our BrecciaSphere range – refining our colour choices and adding them to our Sphere8 flooring colour guide. Fortunately we have long used our range of terrazzo-effect resin floors, but with demand steadily increasing we thought it was time to give this collection a little extra attention!

As many of our clients are aware, one of the great benefits of a Sphere8 poured resin floor is the complete flexibility in your choice of colour. We offer a carefully curated range of shades, as well as a unique colour-match service so our clients can have complete control over their final pigment. Whilst this is a great advantage it can be somewhat overwhelming! So we’re looking at the timeless colour combinations you can use to guide your decision…

It was a couple of months ago that we were first approached about the Tom Dixon Howard Street store, and since then the entire project has been a bit of a whirlwind. With the spectacular opening last week it was obvious that all of this hard work had been well worth it!

Among the many changes we've experienced during our rebrand, one of the more exciting challenges was deciding how to update and refresh our colour ranges. We've had to adapt previous colours, keep our favourites and make way for some new offerings too...

One of the things we are most often asked about is replicating the look of polished concrete. It’s been a growing trend for some time, but in recent months it’s become more and more popular in people’s homes and we’ve noticed the increased interest in practical alternatives.
