Most companies specialising in rubber floors offer sheets of vinyl or rubber – meaning they are almost seamless throughout most interior spaces. At Sphere8 our floors are poured in layers of resin, making them completely seamless throughout any interior space. We are able to work within any space over several floors – including drains, manholes, stairs and curved edges. Furthermore, unlike with rubber, you don’t have to pay extra for any wastage or cutting, whatever the size or shape of your floors – you will only pay for the exact area you cover. Furthermore our quoted prices include all labour and materials – no third-party costs to consider.
Rubber floors that are supplied in sheets will often require you to source a third-party fitter for your floors. At Sphere8 we are committed to providing a complete service, so you feel confident and comfortable throughout your project, dealing with the same team and your own dedicated project planner. We will carry out site surveys as necessary to understand the site, note any details you may have missed and to confirm the readiness of the subfloor. Our expert teams of installers will then fit and install your floors, pouring in layers that are allowed to dry or ‘cure’ overnight, with an average installation taking approximately 5 working days.
The other great benefit of Sphere8 over rubber floors is the versatility in design and colour. Whilst vinyl or rubber floors are often available in a wide range of colours, our poured resin is available in any bespoke colour of your choice, with our innovative colour-match service – we could match a preferred paint swatch or fabric sample, or ensure your flooring conforms to commercial brand guidelines. Alternatively you can choose from our carefully curated range of colours – one collection of which is specifically designed to imitate the finish of polished concrete.
