BrecciaSphere
This project is a perfect example of how Sphere8 terrazzo can work in a family home - unlike concrete terrazzo it is warm and soft underfoot, perfect for a domestic environment. It is also a stylish option in this modern extension - perfectly complementing the grey marble counters and splash back, and echoing the concrete-effect pendant lights.
For this installation our clients (Architecture for London) chose from our standard BrecciaSphere range - choosing Pebble, one of our lighter options. This natural concrete-style terrazzo blend combines a mid to light grey resin with Bardiglio aggregate. Bardiglio is an Italian marble with a dark grey or bluish hue, normally found along the West coast of Italy just south of the Cinque Terre. It's an ideal stone for terrazzo floors, and combined with the practical benefits of a resin base it is perfect for a family home. Flexible, durable and comfortable for all!
