A Look Back on Sphere8’s 2024!

Delve into projects and memorable moments from Sphere8’s 2024. There have been very rewarding projects, changes to the warehouse and awards! 

As the new year begins, it’s the perfect time to reflect on 2024! This was a great year for Sphere8, with many new beginnings. A vast range of exciting, creative projects in both commercial and residential spaces, finalists for a Surface Design Award, new team members joining and a revamp of our warehouse have all ensured a busy, but productive year.

Throughout 2024, Sphere8 has transformed a multitude of spaces. From the opening of the MOCO museum in London, to the Nordic Design House showroom, a property in France and a myriad of residential projects located across the UK, the projects have been spectacular to see come to life. 

This EconoSphere floor in Solid Platinum Grey for the MOCO Museum allows the art to do the talking, with a perfect grey to match the bright colours of the artwork. If you’re looking for a reference site to visit and see Sphere8 floors in situ, this site is perfect!

Similarly, the ToughSphere floor in the Nordic Design House showroom in Motion Platinum Grey is an excellent location to see a Sphere8 floor and you can check out the furniture while you’re there! ToughSphere is perfect for this location, as the durability of this floor is an excellent match for the high foot traffic seen at this showroom.

In November we were selected as finalists for the Surface of the Year (Interior) award at the Surface Design Award for our BrecciaSphere Lite system! This is a huge honour, especially to be nominated alongside other innovative companies and their products. Our BrecciaSphere Lite system provides a fine-grained terrazzo effect, while incorporating on average one 1 litre plastic bottle per square metre of flooring; it is both a unique floor and sustainable!

At the tail end of 2024, we also renovated our Wandsworth office floor! Featuring two different systems; EPI Gusto Fino and EPI Gusto Mezzo in the shade Fennai, you can see these terrazzo-effect floors when visiting our Wandsworth showroom. This is an excellent visit if clients are deciding between different aggregate sizes.
